While researching Drumlamph I found myself regularly
searching around the neighbouring towns and townlands looking for information about families that have left or arrived in
Drumlamph.
As a result I have extended my research to Bellaghy town itself. At present
I am compiling a record of who lived in each house in Bellaghy over the past 150 years. To date I have almost completed about
60 years of this, from 1860 until the late 1920's.
This research will not be as detailed as Drumlamph, as I have
only recorded is the names of the families and where they lived, I have little (an in most cases no) information
about individual family members.
If your ancestors lived in Bellaghy town at any time during the
past 150 years I would love to hear from you, and (with a bit of luck) I should be able to tell you exactly
which house your ancestors lived in, and the years they lived there.
The names I have found so far. These people were living in Bellaghy
during the period between 1860 and the early 1930's
